Introduction
The client is a finance institution, a globally recognised online trading broker specialising in Forex (FX), CFDs, commodities, indices, and cryptocurrencies. The company operates across multiple jurisdictions, including South Africa.
The HR Administrator will support employee records management and HR compliance. The role requires strong knowledge of HR practices, good organisational skills, and the ability to handle sensitive information.
Duties & Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Support the HR Manager with HR-related duties.
- Assist with the recruitment process.
- Maintain HR compliance.
- Support payroll processing and benefits administration.
- Provide general administrative support to the HR department.
You will also manage office operations and provide administrative support to ensure smooth daily functions.
- Manage the reception area and act as the main contact for clients, partners, and stakeholders.
- Coordinate meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements.
- Manage office supplies, equipment, and facilities.
- Prepare and distribute documents, reports, and presentations.
- Act as a link between departments to support communication and collaboration.
- Support management with scheduling, minutes, and correspondence.
- Assist with projects and events such as conferences and workshops.
- Stay informed on industry trends and market developments.
Desired Experience & Qualification
Qualification
- National Diploma or BTech in Human Resources or related field.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in an HR role.
- Strong knowledge of HR policies and procedures.
- Proficient in MS Office and HR systems.
- Ability to handle confidential information.
Experience
- Good knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Understanding of employment legislation (BCEA, LRA, EE Act).
- Experience with HRIS is an advantage.
