Introduction

My client, a company that deals in vehicle suspension parts and accessories, is looking for an internal sales consultant with industry experience.

Duties & Responsibilities

Position Overview

As an Internal Sales Consultant, you will support and drive the company’s sales growth. You will work in the office and manage customer relationships, service existing clients, identify new business opportunities, and provide product advice. You will act as a main contact for customers, prepare quotations, close sales, and ensure strong service delivery.

Sales Responsibilities

• Service and maintain existing customer relationships.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities.
• Conduct market research to find potential customers and opportunities.
• Seek new business through cold calling, networking, and social media.
• Arrange and conduct meetings with potential clients.
• Prepare and present product and service presentations.
• Generate accurate quotations and follow up on opportunities.
• Ensure product availability and stock awareness.
• Negotiate and close deals while handling objections or complaints.
• Work with team members to meet sales targets.
• Gather customer feedback and share insights.
• Prepare regular sales reports.

4. Vehicle sales and accessories

Minimum Requirements

• Matric certificate.
• Valid driver’s licence (Code 08).
• Computer literacy (email, Microsoft Word, Excel).
• Pastel experience is an advantage.
• Fluent in English and Afrikaans.
• No criminal record.
